Olena Hodges

(Rosalind in As You Like It, Eliza/Helen Burns/Bertha in Jane Eyre, Lepidus/Trebonius in Julius Caesar), in her sixth ISF season, is a founding ISF company member and the Director of Outreach. Olena is thrilled to inaugurate the new ISF outdoor space as Rosalind, returning to the role that launched her Shakespearean career with ISF in 2010. Other favorite roles include Juliet in Romeo & Juliet, Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing, and Ariel in The Tempest (Island Shakespeare Festival). Favorites at other theaters: The Two Gentlemen of Verona and The Sign in Sydney Brustein's Window (Oregon Shakespeare Festival), La Terrasse (Southern Oregon University), Homecoming (Ashland New Plays Festival). Olena holds a BFA in Performance with a minor in Shakespeare Studies from Southern Oregon University, and is a graduate of Circle in the Square Theatre School in New York, NY. Olena extends mountains of gratitude to Rose, Corey, and Julie, this amazing cast and crew, ISF's wonderful sponsors, donors and volunteers, and Erick, Peggy, Bob, and Michelle.
