2019 Season

























STEWART BLACKWOOD

(he/him; Composer & Sound Designer: The Winter's Tale; Sound Designer: A Midsummer Night's Dream; 1st season with ISF) is excited to be joining the Island Shakespeare Festival for their 2019 season. This season, he is the sound designer for A Midsummer Night’s Dream and the sound designer/composer for The Winter’s Tale. He holds a B.F.A. in Sound Design and Technology from Kent State University and is a current graduate student at the University of California San Diego pursuing an M.F.A. in Sound Design for Theatre. His designs and compositions have been heard at the Cleveland Play House, Hangar Theater, Rubber City Theatre, Maelstrom Collaborative Arts, Pan African Theater Ensemble, Kent State University, and Akron Haunted School House and Laboratory.
