2018 Season

Gary Taylor

(Henry Condell) has been active in professional theater in the Pacific Northwest since the late 1980’s, from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Ashland, to Village Theatre, Issaquah, to Seattle theaters, like The Bathhouse, Book-It Repertory, Seattle Immersive Theater, and Pioneer Square Theatre. Favorite roles on stage include Oberon, Malvolio, Peer Gynt, Oscar Madison and Felix Unger (in separate productions), Tevye, El Gallo, Marcus Lycus, and Uncle Vanya, as well as Owen in The Foreigner, Sir Harry in Once Upon a Mattress (opposite Oscar-winning J. K. Simmons as the King), Murray in A Thousand Clowns, and assorted roles in The Bathhouse’s A Big Broadcast. His credits on episodic TV include nearly a dozen supporting roles on the CBS-TV series Northern Exposure (as logger, farmer, long-distance trucker, patients with various ailments, romantic rival to John Corbett, et al), guest-star performances in Grimm, Z Nation, DiscID’s Evil In Law, and CBS’s The Fugitive (filmed in Seattle during the 90s), as well as a cameo in an episode of Frasier. Favorite film roles include the rancher in Homeward Bound (who allows the pets to escape, to start their ‘Incredible Journey’), a police sergeant in Come, See the Paradise, a cowboy bully in Smoke Signals, and a recent turn as a desert-dwelling recluse named John, in an indie film called Away (wrapped this summer, now in post-production). He also appears in this year’s web series The Scottish Play, as Kevin, a hapless ICE investigator. He is excited to be part of the current ground-breaking production.
