Ray Kathryn Morgen (they/them) | Season Sound Designer (5th season with ISF) is a queer, neurodivergent, award-winning, multi-disciplinary theatre artist who misses their cats, but is so pleased to be back on Whidbey with ISF! This is their fifth season with ISF, including two years of acting (A Midsummer Night’s Dream - 2012, Shakespeare’s Other Women - 2018) and two years of co-producing Theatre Conservatory for Young Adults during their time as Artistic Director of Whidbey Children’s Theatre (2016-2017). They recently graduated from Fairhaven College at WWU with an Interdisciplinary Studies degree titled Neuropsychology in Theatrical Sound Design and Performance, and will begin their MFA in Sound Design at Carnegie Mellon University this fall.
