Celina Lee Surniak (she/her) | Season Fight & Intimacy Director (2nd season with ISF) is a Fight/Intimacy Director for stage, as well as a Stunt/Intimacy Coordinator for Film & Television. She is excited to be joining The Island Shakespeare festival for the second time! Her recent credits for Fight and Intimacy Direction include: Happy Fall- A Queer Stunt Spectacular (Rogue Artists Ens.); Newsies (Mirman Theater); A Midsummer Nights Dream (House of Bards); She Kills Monsters (LBCC); NIMROD (Theater of NOTE); Let Me In (Theatre 68); PUFFS! (Milken Theater); She Kills Monsters (Westridge Theater); Titus Andronicus/Love’s Labour’s Lost/Cyrano de Bergerac (Island Shakespeare Festival); Romeo and Juliet (House of Bards); Angels In America- Parts I and II (Foolish Production Co.); Beauty and the Beast (ENCORE South Bay); Titus Andronicus (Foolish Production Co.); Macbeth (House of Bards); Midsummer Night’s Dream (Foolish Production Co.); and much more.
